Private Masker respects your privacy. This app is designed to protect privacy in videos using on-device AI while keeping your data completely private.

On-Device Video Processing

All video processing—including face detection, face masking, metadata stripping, and voice pitch modification—is performed locally on your device using Apple’s Vision framework and Core ML technology.

Your videos never leave your device. Private Masker does not upload, store, or transmit videos to any server.

Data Collection

Private Masker does not collect, store, or share any personal data.

The app does NOT collect:

• Videos or photos
• Personal information
• Device identifiers
• Usage analytics
• Location data
• Face data or biometric information
• Voice recordings

How We Use Apple’s Vision Framework

Private Masker uses Apple’s on-device Vision framework to:

• Detect faces in video frames (processed locally, not stored)
• Apply blur effects to detected face regions
• All face detection happens in real-time on your device

No face data, biometric information, or video content is collected, stored, or transmitted.

Third-Party Services

Private Masker does not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies.

We do not integrate with:

• Analytics platforms
• Advertising networks
• Cloud processing services
• Data collection services

Internet Usage

Private Masker can function completely offline. An internet connection is not required for video processing.

An internet connection is only used for:

• App Store subscription validation (handled by Apple)
• Optional crash reporting (if explicitly enabled)

Subscription and Payments

Subscription management is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or process payment information.

Children’s Privacy

Private Masker does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.

Parents and guardians are responsible for monitoring children’s use of the app and ensuring appropriate content is shared online.

Data Retention

Since we do not collect any data, there is no data retention policy needed.

Processed videos are stored locally on your device only until you choose to save them to your Photos library or delete them.

Your Rights

You have full control over your data:

• All processing happens on your device
• You choose what to save or share
• You can delete processed videos at any time
• No data is stored externally
