Terms of Use for ScanVault

Effective date: March 15, 2026

These Terms of Use govern your use of ScanVault (“the app”), developed by Nam Tran. By using ScanVault, you agree to these terms.


License

ScanVault is licensed to you, not sold. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.


Subscriptions

ScanVault Pro is offered as an auto-renewing monthly subscription.


Your Responsibilities


Your Data

ScanVault stores all documents locally on your device, encrypted. We have no access to your documents. You are solely responsible for managing, backing up, and protecting your data.

If you delete the app, your vault is deleted. Export a backup before uninstalling if you wish to keep your documents.


Disclaimer of Warranties

ScanVault is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be available at all times, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose.


Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nam Tran shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of ScanVault, including loss of data.


Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the latest revision.


Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to conflict of law principles.
