Effective April 2026

EstateKeep Privacy Policy

EstateKeep is built for private personal home records. The app does not require an EstateKeep account and does not include third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or attribution SDKs.

1. Data EstateKeep Collects

EstateKeep does not collect, transmit to EstateKeep servers, store in cloud databases, sell, or share personal data. Home details, maintenance records, photos, vendor contacts, documents, cost notes, and settings are stored locally on your device using Apple app storage.

2. Local Storage

Your records remain in the app sandbox on your iPhone or iPad. EstateKeep does not operate a user account system or a server-side copy of your home records.

3. Network Requests

The app may make limited network requests for Apple StoreKit purchases and restores. If you add an address and use weather features, the app may use Apple address geocoding and National Weather Service forecast endpoints for U.S. weather lookup.

4. Backups

If you export a backup, EstateKeep creates a password-protected encrypted backup file and hands it to the Apple system share sheet. You decide where to store or send that file. EstateKeep cannot recover a forgotten backup password.

5. Permissions

EstateKeep may request camera access to photograph rooms or completed work, photo library access to attach existing images, notification permission for task reminders, and Face ID, Touch ID, Optic ID, or passcode for optional app lock. These permissions are used only for the in-app purpose shown to you.

6. Third-Party SDKs

The current EstateKeep app binary does not include third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or attribution SDKs.

7. Children

EstateKeep is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Changes

If this policy changes, the updated policy will be posted here and may also be included in a future app update.
